“Why wander far and wide? See, the good is so near.” We took Goethe’s dictum to heart and held a staff event at the Käpfnach mine in Horgen, followed by lunch.

We seized the opportunity and held another staff event. This time we were in Horgen. Who would have thought that there was a mine there. The Käpfnach mine was in operation from the early 18th century until the middle of the 20th century (with interruptions). The big highlight of the tour was the ride on the Barbara tunnel locomotive. The joint lunch after the exciting hours “underground” rounded off the excursion.
