Privacy notice

Scope
This notice applies to the websites bmpi.ch, cinnamon.bmpi.ch and cinnamon-services.ch. It describes which personal data we process when you visit these sites and when you contact us. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
Controllers
The controller is bmpi AG, Militärstrasse 76, 8004 Zurich, info@bmpi.ch. For cinnamon-services.ch, Cinnamon Services AG at the same address is controller jointly with it. Please send questions about data protection to privacy@bmpi.ch.
No cookies, no tracking
Our websites set no cookies, use no analytics or advertising services and load no content from third parties: no fonts, no scripts, no videos. The one exception for data transfer is the event registration form (see below). For the language switch, your browser briefly keeps the scroll position in session storage; it does not leave your device.
Server log files
When a page is requested, our hosting provider Hostpoint AG in Switzerland stores technical details such as IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser type. These data serve the secure operation of the websites and are deleted after a short time.
Contact by email or phone
When you write to us or call, we process your details to answer your enquiry. Our email runs on Microsoft 365. We keep the correspondence for as long as the enquiry and legal obligations require.
Booking a slot
The «Book a slot» button leads to Microsoft Bookings. Only there, after your click, do Microsoft’s terms apply. Nothing is loaded for it on our pages themselves.
Event registration
For registrations to our events we process salutation, name, company, email address and your message to run the event. On submission, the registration form sends these details directly to our CRM at HubSpot (HubSpot, Inc., USA; stored in data centres in the EU). No cookies are set and no HubSpot scripts are loaded. You receive further information from us only if you explicitly choose this in the form; you can unsubscribe at any time.
Applications
We process applications sent to jobs@bmpi.ch solely for the application process and delete them when it ends, unless you have agreed to longer retention.
Your rights
You can request information about your data, its correction or deletion, and object to processing. Please write to privacy@bmpi.ch. You also have the right to contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Changes
We update this notice when our websites or the law change. The version published here applies.
