On November 11, 2025, the ‘Trends in Client Reporting’ event took place for the 20th time – on our journey through the reporting universe, this year we explored the four planets: Orientation, Impact, Printout, and Future.

Program and Presentations

Oliver Gloor, CEO of bmpi AG led through the program.

Twenty years ago, the first “Trends in Client Reporting” took place. This year, we embarked on yet another journey through the reporting universe.

Kompass: The Path to St.Galler Kantonalbank’s Reporting Platform

Michael Hungerbühler, Leiter Institutionelle Anleger bei der St.Galler Kantonalbank

With St.Galler Kantonalbank’s Kompass reporting platform, institutional clients can generate individual evaluations and analyses of their assets and performance at any time. In addition, they can create portfolio or manager comparisons and export or print information as needed. In our presentation, we outline the entire journey – from the initial evaluation to the finished product.

Making Sustainability and Social Impact Measurable – gebana’s Impact Model

Christophe Schmidt, CEO of gebana AG

How does Switzerland’s most sustainable brand measure its impact? At the core is gebana’s impact tree, which defines KPIs related to the local economy, farming families, and sustainability. The annual report and sustainability report are combined into one – social and environmental criteria carry just as much weight as economic ones.

From Digital to Print: Making Paper Reports Innovative Again

Dan Krusi, Partner bei der Zürcher Kreativagentur Nerves

Over the past ten years, the focus has primarily been on the digital transformation of reports. The shift from paper to screen has strongly shaped innovation in reporting through digital formats. In the process, the potential of traditional print reports has largely remained untapped. Today, there is an opportunity to rethink print and leverage its strengths strategically as a complement to the digital world.

AI in Client Reporting

Marcus Brändle, CPO & Thomas Tscherrig, Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung bei bmpi AG
